I wasn’t exactly eagerly awaiting the arrival of Sirât in U.S. theaters. I had heard it described as “polarizing” and knew people were pretty split on it (more critical/festival praise, with limited release audiences not enjoying it as much), so I figured I would come out of it on more neutral footing.
